I was driving and noticed smoke coming from my engine. When I stopped to take a look I smelled coolant. I noticed that coolant was splashed on my engine and burning off causing the smoke. I was able to determine the leak was coming from my thermostat. I replaced the thermostat and o ring. That seemed to have solved the leak, however when I went to test drive it i heard what seemed like a grinding noise and squeak, it then begin to overheat and leak again and blow all over my engine. I now believe it is my waterpump that is bad.

What do you guys think and it it hard to change?

It sounds plausible to Me, and no, we did one yesterday and it wasn't hard at all, you will need the tools to remove your fan,take off the belt, remove the fan and fan shroud, remove the pulley, and there is 12 bolts total on the water pump, replace that and follow steps backwards, it only took us about 2 hours to do it

The upper and lower thermostat housings leak at times and it will leak at the sensor too... Those are common spots to leak on our motors! Hope this helps
