Default vacuum leak

i was told by a ford technician that i may have a vacuum leak, does anybody know how i could check for one, i would rather not spend the $200 to have them check it unless i have to.
-thanks

Get some soapy water and spray all the vacuum hoses with the truck running

Default me too

I'm also looking for diagrams for the vacuum hoses. They're all encased with protective tubing.
I wish I could do a homemade smoke (fake kind) that could be forced into throttle body area.

Thanks again

Oh my god why don't people search.

use a scanner to monitor live data to check the fuel trims and see if your computer agrees that you have a vacuum leak.

If you do, use a stethoscope (get the craftsman one for 15$ from sears)

Search for threads I've authored, I did a GREAT P0171/174 thread, but the mods NEVER STICKIED IT!

Go buy one, They start around 100$ and it is the most useful tool you can have. Mine was 240$ and I would buy it 1000 times.
