Default Timing chain change question

Just a quick question I was wondering if you needed any special tool to take the chains off and put new ones on does anyone know?

I know there is a timing chain on the back of the engine. To replace all you need to pull the engine.

(yay for haynes manual....)

Well I know you have to pull the motor I know how to do all that the reason I want to do all this is because I have to change my head gasket and while I'm in there I want to change the chains they slap like no other... So I'm seeing if there is anyone that has done it.
