whats the best cheapest way to get more power out of a 99 4.0 ohv without losing a lot of mpg?

Search man its been discussed, If you need more power get an f150. What your are asking is kind of a contradiction, if you want more power your mpgs go down the drain, if you want more mpgs your power goes down the drain. If you want more throttle response, do the throttle cable mod. Clicky---> Throttle Cable Mod Other than that search, If you have money super charge it, or drop a 5.0 in it.

Thanks man I'm gonna try that throttle cable mod have you tried it and if so howd it work? Also any other things you know of I know ill lose mpgs with more power seein if there's a more fuel efficient way lol

I did do the throttle cable mod, when I wasnt used to it I had alot more TR and now its just normal cause its been that way for a month lol
