I am getting around 215 miles on a tank and am averaging about 14 miles per gallon. I also have a very loose gas pedal so i need to do the zip tie trick when I have the chance. Since gas prices are about $4 per gallon, I need to hurry and fix my mileage the best I can. Any tips? (And I drive the manual but I got the big engine so I kind of canceled out all of my proper mileage)

my 2006 4.0 with 31's is getting me about 15MPG mixed city/highway

when i first got it i filled up drove home (all highway) and filled up when i got home. MPG for that one trip was 17.6.

now when i do the exact same, its around 15. no idea why the drop

tune up(oil,plugs, wires, egr,cleaned MAF sensor, cleaned throttle body,cleaned air filter)
stay below 70 mph
shift at recommended points

Lightly modded. Sitting in China Grove Tx waiting for me to come home and mod the shit out of her!

It's about 25-28 lately, before I replaced the thermostat it was 17-19 mpg The thermostat was stuck open.

i get 225 before i fill up, i can get 312 before breaking down on the side of the road lol

i get 15 to 17 mpg....mostly 15.5
