Default Superchip confusion

I just bought a Superchip Flashpaq tuner and am having some troubles with advanced options. Whenever I go to advaced tune, my only advaned options are speed limiter and rev limiter. And I can't set actual numbers on those it just says raised or lowered. Well raised or lowered to what? What I really bought the thing for was to change the speedometer for 33's. I hooked it up to my computer and it said everything was up to date, but there is no option that I can find for tire size or axle gearing. Anyone have a superchip and can point me in the right direction?

I haven't bought a superchip yet, but in the catalog there are a couple different ones, can't remember the name of it but it's 40 bucks more expensive and says an added feature is the ability to make adjustments to the speedometer for different tire sizes. Maybe the flashpaq just doesn't allow for this adjustment?
Besides this problem, do you like the flashpaq? I haven't decided if it's worth the money, but my buddy's with Dodge trucks swear by it and would never go without one.

The manual claims you can make speedo adjustments, Im going to call them today

As far the tuner goes, "performance mode" really gives the truck some pep. I can now get on the gas below 2,000 rpms and it picks up pretty quick. Before hand it would bog.
However, I really just bought it for the fuel savings. I have it on "mileage xs mode" now and im waiting to burn through this tank and see what im getting. I was getting about 15.5 all city mpg beforehand (don't really do any highway driving). If it gets me up to 17 mpg ill be happy.

Im down to a quarter tank so the numbers will be coming soon

i've got a 3.0 and an automatic and could switch the tire sizes on mine, but not the rear end gears. as far as the raise/lower, for speed it will remove the governor that makes the truck stop accelerating at 94ish mph. for shift points, it raises or lowers where the computer shifts the transmission on an automatic.

i'd be careful with the 'mileage xs mode,' from what i've heard it just leans out the A/F mixture to unsafe levels. just what i heard though.

On the advance tune all it gave me were the speed and rev limiter raise. And thats all it said was raise. I was hoping to actually be able to program the numbers.

Ill keep an eye out for funny check engine lights, but what do u mean unsafe? Di the tuner help your mpg at all?

yeah i only have 'raise' too. but you're a manual trans, so that doesn't even matter to you.

unsafe as in it makes the engine run way too lean which will in turn make your engine run hotter and fry the thing from the inside. i haven't tried any tunes except for performance and towing, it's a truck, if i wanted more mpg i would sell it and buy a civic.
