I got one for my OHV when I did a tune up, idles great now, you could set a glass of wine on my motor that's how smooth. just make sure you gap them correctly, they recommend to gap them larger than stock when using that pack.

Re: Screamin demon coil pack?
Yea i knew about gaping them bigger. I heard that gapping em bigger to .65 without the coil pack is alright

You don't have to gap your plugs bigger just to run the Screamin Demon. It simply allows you to run a bigger gap because its an upgraded coil pack. The stock one can't handle it. You can also run the stock gap on the Demon no problem, it just defeats the purpose of getting one.

Re: Screamin demon coil pack?
So if i dont upgrade my coil pack dont gap my plugs any bigger? The guys at the autoparts store were sayin the stock gap is .54 but ive heard opening em up to almost .65 will help burn fuel more effeciently

That's what I meant, Its pointless to upgrade to the better pack w/o gapping to .65, it's what they recommend but not required.
Thanks for clearing that up, do you have one on yours John?

I would recommend stock gapping if going with a Motorcraft or replacement OEM coil pack. If using the Screamin' Demon pack, open them up to .65, that's what they recommend.
Ford engineers recommend .54 gapping on stock packs for a reason, I doubt you'd see noticeable increases in fuel efficiency anyways.
I went with the Screamin' Demon because it was cheaper than a Motorcraft and I'd read good reviews on them. I have not noticed any increase in power or fuel efficiency, it seems to idle a lot smoother than previous though (in park at 600 RPMS)
