Default leaking freeze plug

i found a freeze plug that is starting to leak. its the front one on the pass side of the engine. anyone know the size of it? also i looked on rockauto.com and they have the rubber expansion plugs would that work or is that just a temp fix thing? thanks.

If you knock out the old one you can determine the size, I have used the rubber ones occasionally when I couldnt get a square shot on installing a metal one and never had a problem with them and they lasted for years.

ok thanks i was thinking of giving some jb weld a try. they make a waterweld putty might work if i can get it clean enough plus i would have to drain the coolant out.

well i cleaned it up and used the jb waterweld stuff. waiting for it to cure fully then start it up and see how it does. it was a very small leak to begin with but still needed to be fixed.
