after i cleaned my throttle body, when i crank my truck up the rpms spike tp 2200-2500rpms then slowly declines. is that normal?

did you clean the IAC when you cleaned the throttle body?

new project: dirt track modified racing at the local saturday night track.

cleaned IAC, MAF, and TB at separate times to ensure after each one it ran good. also new air filter. but after TB clean seems like RPM spiked up on start up

My truck would do that when it was cold over here.....idk if its normal or not but my truck runs great

Lightly modded. Sitting in China Grove Tx waiting for me to come home and mod the shit out of her!

mine jumps to about 2k and then settles to about 1k until it changes to closed loop and then the rpms drop to about 800 or so...normal behavior
