i have a 6 cyl 4.0 flex fuel engine with a major coolant leak but i'm not sure what's causing it. it's coming from right behind/above the bottom radiator hose where it goes into the water pump but i don't think it's coming from the hose it's self. and nothing is coming out of the weep hole on the water pump. is this still a bad water pump? gaskets leaking? or something else? help please!

Had that happen to me 2 days after buying my 01! I have a buddy that is a mechanic so I had him look (mainly because I'm lazy). I can't remember if the water pump housing cracked or if it pulled away from the engine block or what. Anyways I had to replace the water pump. Should expect it to be right around $300 if you have a shop do it.

this or the hose could be bad, mine leaked like that and i replaced the hose and now its just fine
