I normally drive around like an old man, but was is the top speed of my xlt 4.0?

2004 super cab, 4 door xlt with appearance package and 4.0 cammer V-6 with auto trans and 2wd fitted with a Leer topper. Sounds via Alpine head unit and power pack through infinity Kappa components front and Kappas rear.

i hit 94 mph today catchin up to my mom on hte highway, with a 2000 xlt 3.0

the 4 L has the potential to go faster its just governed at approx 90 Mph for most places it seems

Speed limiter is set around 90-92 mph

I got to around 92, then then the Speed limiter kicked in. Glad it did. I was going way too fast for this type of vehicle.

just curious, my speed limiter shuts the ignition off when i hit 100. it stays off till i completely let off the gas. it is pretty scary cuz the truck will get a little tail whip. does anyone else's do that?

The 1st year I owned my Ranger I had it up to 113 on a level stretch of road if I have a speed limiter its not turned on :^)

2006 Fx4 Level 2 with a 5spd, Superlifted on 33's.

Depends if its a automatic or a manual. Iv'e done about 100 with my 5 speed manual trying to get to a road before it closed.
