I also have a 2010 with K&N intake i noticed the pop as well usually three fast loud pops the dealership told me its the vent select. So it does it on floor setting and on floor/defrost turn it to dash vents doesn't do it and turn off vents doesn't do it only reason you hear it now is cause of the stock air box being removed hope that helped

There is nothing wrong with your truck the intake is like a megaphone that's why you hear the noise now put stock back on and noise will be gone.
