Default Different Muffler, need help.

I recently purchased a 1993 Ford Ranger. Its the XLT, Extended cab, four wheel drive, 4.0 and a five speed. I love the truck. The only issue I have is the exhaust is SUPER quiet. Appears to be stock, so I really would just like an opinion for a louder, but deep and raspy sound at not a terrible price. Does anyone have any recommendations? Anything would help! Thanks!

Try this one out:

Go about 1 foot behind the cab with nothing else and if that doesn't do it or is too much for you to handle, throw a couple of exhaust tips on it. Oh before I forget there's a sound clip in the link I gave to you. But it really depends mostly on your personal tastes and since you have the 4.0 this muffler gives new meaning to the term "throaty". It's a single 3 inch inlet with dual 2.5 inch outlets. Ordinarily a 3 inch inlet is a bad thing but only if it has the same size outlets. In this case it will not cause any loss of mpgs or power. This muffler is one of the few exceptions. I never lost any mpgs or power with this muffler.

Thrush welded, $30 and call it good. You dont really want rasp with a v6, rasp will make it sound high pitched and whining.

Alright, thanks guys. It's all definitely something to think about. I just want to find something I'm going to like the sound of, ya know?
