Default Need help with Ranger engine changeover from 3.0 to 4.0

I am doing a change-over on a ford ranger. The ranger is a 1991 with 3.0L engine and I am putting a 4.0L engine out of a 1991 explorer. I have put both the engine and trans in out of the explorer plus I have installed the computer out of the explorer. I am also using the wiring hareness from the explorer. The problem is that none of the plugs match up to the rangers. I have figured most of them out , but there is a couple that I can't figure out. The transmission wires on the 3.0 have 1 less wire than the 4.o and there is 2 other plugs under the hood that don't match up. Can someone tell me something or tell me where I can find some literature to help me out. I would appreciate any help anyone can offer, because I'm stuck right now. Everything is in and done except a couple of wires to be able to fire it up.
