Default MAF help

I have a 1994 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 with the 4.0L v6 and the A4LD transmission. about a year ago my transmission was shifting in and out of overdrive randomly. i replaced the MAF to help with pinging problem which, still a mystery to me, fixed my random overdive shifting problem. now my tranny is having shifting problems in first and second gears and was wondering if ne one has had this problem or if ne one has ne information on this. thanks.

MAF help that leads to transmission tech.. i would say have your transmission looked at from a reputable shop.

How long since a fluid flush? Cheap way to see if burnt up fluid is your problem.
