ran my 1st tank out yesterday, 210 miles. Lets see what the next gets, I changed the plugs and air filter and a bottle of lucas fuel cleaner.

Could it be the OHC engine. Since it is an OBD I, I cannot use a hand held tuner, mine is a 94 as seen in my signature below my posts.

Wow, I'm pretty bad, Hope my cats not going: 340 kms! per tank that 211 miles.. WTF on a 20 gallon (74 liters)

Worst tank was 179 miles.

2007 Shelby GT500 ...521 RWHP

I'm getting horrible milage comp to you guys and I need to do something.
275 mile whether towing or not seems to make little difference.

I'm having trouble finding a obd1 mechanic to work on this truck within 100 miles. I'm unemployed and don't mind to pay for a job, but to keep taking it back and the job is not getting done. Is any members here on my region with a 93-94 Ranger with 4.0?

W/ my lift and 32's the most ive ever recorded on my 19.5 gallon tank is ~355 miles (18.2mpg). That was 100% freeway driving. I never kept track of this when i was stock.

Its closer to 260 in the city. And yes I adjusted for the speedo/odo inaccuracy

I'm sure if I cruised at 55 i could easily get 400 / 20mpg but who the hell cruises at 55 on the freeway

Mine has got some better since I replaced the o2 sensor, but not that much, 60 something maybe more on a tank. The engine seems to have a shudder on take off and the transmission was rebuilt complete in the post Thanksgiving season of 2011.

Any ideas please help.

I go 225 - 250 on a tank. If I baby it a bit, I can get up to 275 miles on a tank.
My tank though, is 16.5 gal. Still stock truck, with 3.55 rear end and 235/75/15 tires.
Now on 15/8 rims. With plans to go to 31/10.5/15 tires in the near future.
Best mileage was 330 miles on a tank! At that time, it was all highway driving
to and from work. What hurt though, is it was a 24.5 mile drive, one way!
Now, mile and a half and 5-7 minutes.

2wd 2001 Edge, 4.0L auto.
Mods: OHC, auto dim mirror, Westin grille guard, nerf bars, Hella 500 off road lights, AVS bug shield and window vents, tonneau cover and 31/10.5/15 Falken Rocky Mountains, MB TKO 15x8 rims. Regeared to 3.73 with LSD.

I'm going to run some Lucas fuel injector cleaner through my truck and see if it helps my 340 kms/tank. Ill re-post my findings.

Done that to mine, lucas is great stuff, has not fixed my problem and yesterday she got to shuddering so bad it was like an old Buick from the 50's trying to run on 2 cycle gas or needing the carbon cleared out. I can't figure it?

I just filled up and I got 374 mpg on a tank. Did a plug, wire, fuel and air filter before the last fill and put some lucas treatment in. She seems to be running great, we will see what happens with the next fill up.

typo I assume?
