Yea I refuse to use felpro 2 peice lower intake gaskets...I personally think the 1 peice is a lot stronger and seals better

So the rear main seal was PART of my problem. Found out that like an idiot, I did not put RTV sealant from gasket to block on my Felpro gasket. I still don't understand what you mean by a two piece gasket, as this one is seriously just one piece. Went ahead and put some sealant on it, going to let it sit for the night and tomorrow I'll patch it up and see what happens. If it doesn't work, a Ford gasket will be in my future (Ford has to order it).

It is leaking out of the passenger side corner, and running down the side of the block rather than the back, which is why I couldn't see it from just taking the upper intake off.

Not a ton done to it, but it's nowhere near finished

Way too much done to list and it's also not even close to done

i had him do upper & lower gaskets. but mines doing the same as you say leaking down the back of the motor and drenching the transmission in oil. i guess thats what i get for not having the time to do it myself and paying $400 to have him install shitty felpro's.

have you guys ever used oil dye to try and spot a leak easier? i dont want to take it back to him inless i need too (about 30minutes away) but since i paid him to install them he usually stands behind his work. i asked him to order Ford gaskets but he said he's used Felpro's for years and on and on, so i figured whatever I'm sure they'll be fine.

the shitty part of the whole thing is i thought this would solve my coolant leak issue...yeah she still leaks coolant from the same spot.
