you will need a 90-94 6 bolt crank for the fly wheel motor ranger/explorer, or 1990-’96 Aerostar

in 1995-1996 ranger/explorer they changed the head design and its a different engine calibration.. will it work yes. just make sure once again its a 6 bolt crank

1997+ they went to 8 bolt crank which you dont want

since the heads are different will the exhaust manifolds and everything still bolt right up?
and will i have to worry about the computer or anything?
since a 96 is an obd II will that affect anything?
and will all the harnesses for the engine be the same?
I just really dont wanna run into any issues putting this engine in
