1995 Ranger Wont Start
I hope I can get some help. I turn the key and only get a click, then nothing. I have read through all of the Post with starting problems and have tried the following:
1) Charged Battery, checked wires, and cleaned terminals - No Change
2) Replaced the Clutch Interlock Switch - No Change
3) Hit the starter with a dead blow hammer - No Change
I will be headed back to O'Reilly Auto Parts to return the Clutch Interlock Switch and purchase replacement relays to see if that will work. After that I don't know what to do next. Any suggestion?
Thanks,
Harry

Try swapping it to a different battery and check the alternator

Re: 1995 Ranger Wont Start
Will pick one up at O'Rily's in the morning along with the other relays under the hood.
Thanks,
Harry

Re: 1995 Ranger Wont Start
I remember mine would start, and then die three blocks down the road, like clockwork. Was the fuel pump relay(?), or similar, if I remember right.

try bad starter relay. bad cables. bad starter. this assumes the battery is actually good. i assume you tried to boost it already.
