Default Is this normal? spark plug with pic

I have a picture of a random plug I pulled on my 2010 FX4 just for something to do. Approx 13000kms. This looks lean to me. I have a screamin Demon on order, not sure if it will help with a more complete combustion? What do you think? Any suggestions? Also, showing no lean codes.

Once I have my screamin demon I'm gonna see how it runs without and then with gapping the plugs. I'll start a new post for that.

Sorry kind of a crappy pic. Here's another but not great.

Not sure how it could be worn out. Only 13000kms or approx 8077 miles total on the truck. It's almost brand new.

Still kind of hard to tell for sure, but I think it looks like the beginning stages of overheating. Are the oil and coolant levels ok? Did the plugs seem really easy to remove like they weren't tight in the cylinder heads?

When the time comes, make sure you gap the plugs as per the Screamin' Demon specs when you install the parts. Screamin' Demon requires the gap to be opened up a bit more than stock.

i agree with pooleo on this.. they look fine. the truck is brand new and if there arent any codes being thrown then i wouldnt worry about it.. after all the spark plug does take a brutal beating in the combustion chamber and they get scorched all the time

Return the aftermarket coil and obsess about your stereo system or save up to rerplace your shitty high mileage low traction tires instead. Maybe shop around for some paint sealer to preserve your brand new paint job. Its a spark plug it lives inside of a combustion chamber.

I also checked the gap on this plug and it's at 62 thou right form factort and the screamin calls for 65. I'm gonna check them all. Those sra wrAngler pos's are already gone. Got my tbars cranked slightly, 16x8 moto metals and 265/75r16 Duratracs. Not sure if I'm gonna bodylift because the tires don't rub as it is. Slightly "stuffed" but easy to put back to stock if I decide to sell this lil gas guzzling pig. But back to the plugs, I've been told that newer vehicle tend to run slightly leaner then older vehicles mainly for emissions. Could this also be the reason for a somewhat lean looking plug?
