I'm looking to improve my mpg. I already practice good driving habits but what are some other ways to up my mpg? High flow air filter? Anything else?

Thanks

Clean the air filter, IAC, Throttle plates. Make sure the plugs and wires are good, replace the fuel filter and maybe run some seafoam through the gas. It wont be a big improvement but the engine should run smooth

Keep the revs down, keep under 70, proper tire inflation, make sure your exhaust isnt plugged up (bad cats, etc).

Throttle body spacer's, Performance exhaust, High flow Intake's, and a Superchips Flashpaq Tuner. All of these will boost you mileage. All of them together will give you about 5-10 mpg boost. Also keep your tailgate closed to increase aerodynamics, keep average sized tire's and rims, use your air conditioning sparingly as it draws power from the vehicle to operate, and don't haul anything heavy for a long distance

I agree regarding the tailgate, tires, loading, etc. But suggesting you get a throttle body spacer to increase fuel economy and performance is total fiction. They do nothing. Intake will do nothing without the exhaust mods to go with and the tuner to make use of the increased capacity. All of which will cost more than you'll ever save at the pump. And a 10mpg increase is a pipedream, that will never happen no matter what you do.

FYI, The tuner alone can give you 3-5 if you really try, without the other useless mods to go with it.

In addition to the suggestions above, a Screamin Demon Ignition Kit should give you about 1 more MPG.

I'm still waiting for someone to explain to me how a pretty looking coilpack will add economy and performance. I think that makes about as much sense as throttle body spacers.

besides what has already been suggested, use the search function and search for MPG threads. this topic has been absolutely beaten to death here and there is a ton of info about it here.

When I fill up I put the nozzle trigger detente where its pumping about 0.1 gal a sec. just an even rhythm to be consistant. All the time. When it shuts off automatically I pull the nozzle. Today I filled up 12.3gal and Odo was 182.7. This is up from about 13.3 mpg to close to 15mpg. I took the suggestions on this site and cleaned my MAF, IAC, throttle body, plugs; they needed to be and most recently washed out my KN air filter. Hauling some heavy loads and not changing my driving habits, this dog is smiling with almost 2 mpg increase.
