I have this understanding with all of my friends that "i help you, you help me". I will never ask for money, I enjoy the time I spend with my friends and also enjoy the task of completing something together....
just my .02
I agree Scott. That's with my usual group. I've been friends with this guy for a long time, but we aren't like really good friends. My normal group, we always have the same mentallity, "I help you, you help me". Or we are out at a bar or something, someone buys a round, someone buys the next and so forth.

Those two simple words we were taught when we were young...... "Thank you".
Anything I get besides that is just gravy to me.
Just my input.
thanks man, I agree with you. I don't ever ask for anything more than a thank you on stuff like that. If they offer money I may take it, but I'll normally just settle for a beer or two lol.
I just don't like how he asked for money when he never mentioned anything about money when he agreed to help me. I was under the agreement that I'd buy him a case of beer or something like that. Especially after he broke something. But like I said earlier, things happen. There's nothing you can do except next time don't ask him for help. lol
