Default oil leak????

New to the forum, glad to join. I scored a 94xlt with the 4liter v-6. There is a oil leak in the front of the engine that I am having a hard time finding. The oil drips down the upper radiator hose to the ground. Any ideas where this could be coming from. This truck has 56,000 miles on it, an all previous parts that have been replaced are ford oem parts.

ya know. as crazy as this may sound, the last oil change was done were I picked up the truck. This area that seems to have some oil was dry for about 200 miles. But anything can happen. I will check the oil filter, just in case it is loose or something. thanks in advance. Do you know of anyone having oil leaks in the front end main seal, or the cam shaft seal. Only in the front though.....

thanks in advance..

me again

took a closer look at this leak. I am definately stumped. Its really wet under the power steering pump. Fluid looks like engine oil. I'm gonna take it to the car wash and clean the crap off the engine so I can see exaclty whats going on.... i'll let ya know if I find anything.....

Not a valve cover gasket. but it is the lower transmission coolant line in the radiator that goes to the tranny cooler. Now the big mistery is findind a replacement metal line. No luck on with finding a metal tubing replacement, so I am going to get a male by barbed fitting and just run rubber hose for the repair. No rot with a rubber hose to worry about.....
