Default Engine Stutter, RPM drop off

Hey guys i have a 2000 ranger xlt 4.0 AT
around 35-40 mph the engine will start to buck and again around 55-70 especially when accelerating on the high way. it will bump then the rpm will drop off usually from like 2700 to below 2500 while i'm flooring the gas pedal. brought it to the dealership and my garage said they cant do anything without codes but the garage said it might be the transmission and the dealership switched out my fuel filter thinking it was bad fuel. please help

how many miles on the truck? It might be having an issue shifting in and out of overdrive.

I have the same issue. When I pulled the #6 plug, it was pretty dirty with what looks like rust and debris.. I know the truck sat a long time, but I may have gotten bad gas too. I replaced the plugs and seems to make it better.

Pull the #6 plug and look for water intrusion (wetness around the plug tip that hasnt burned off).. I am worried that this may be an intake/head gasket leak....
