EGR VALVE???????????WHERE IS IT Ford ranger v6 4.0?
I cannot find my egr valve. i dont know if the part store gave me the right part for my truck. Or i just cant see it.. I have been all over looking for pics or details in how to replace. i have been to multiple fourms. One man told me i had no such thing on my engine. It is a 2000 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 with a 4.0L V6....HELP PLEASE

If you would call or stop by I would think the Ford service manager at the dealership would point it out to you .

On my 1999 Ranger 3.0L it is on the drivers side of the engine and a tube runs to the bottom of it from the exhaust manifold. Go to the Auto Zone site and see their diagram.

your truck may not have not all do, it would be on the drivers side, going from the upper intake to the exhaust manifold. it looks like a pipe with to small pipe or hoses coming from it
