2wd cant climb as good, and when your 2wd is in the same spot i am and you start to feel your self sink and thinking oh shit you know what i can do? Keep the pedal mashed and the tires spinning, switch my auto hubs to 4hi and peace outta there when it clicks on. Try that in a 2wd

I own a 1996 ford turbo diesel 4x4 and sumtimes i wish i would have my ranger.. certain spots 2wd is better and your right 2wd cant climb as good and in certain places ill get stuck. but flat out mud or small hills.. No problem. if i get stuck in the turbo i just downshift and slam on the gas... And if that fails.... The Green machine always works. Gotta love the deer.

Oh, no DOUBT 4WD will get you farther along than 2WD... like I said, stuck deeper in the woods!

I guess I shouldda put the emoticon on my first post, so everyone would know it is in good fun. Not trying to make anyone angry, here... Truth is, I don't go off-roading. Well, not in my truck. I have a gnarly mountain bike for that.

Yea... I stay clear of steep inclines,
But other than that, my 2wd makes most think
That I have a 4x4
Anyway...if I had another 4wd I would just TRY
To get myself stuck, and nit stop until I do !

I've climbed plenty of things in 2wd with a good locker. If all else fails go faster! That's what good suspension is for
