Its attached to the inside of the fender and its some sort of vacuum part. I broke it when i destroyed that fender and its been broken ever since and when i put the new fender on I just stuck it back up in there. But in tired of it sucking hot air into my cab haha
----------
does anyone know the name/part number?

Re: I need a quick answer!!
It's also called a vacuum reservoir. Basically does what the name implies. Dealer will have one for sure, if you have a pull and pay wrecking yard near you, you could pick one up there pretty cheap.
When you reinstall it, make sure you get the vac lines connected correctly. The easy test is to start the engine up and turn on the air. If the lines are reversed, air will only blow out of the defroster after a few minutes of idling no matter what vent is selected.

bingo! it hold extra suck for your hvac operations AND cruise control if equipped. Sadly its a dealership only item from my experiences. (blowtorch=no bueno.)

They're pretty hard to break. I dropped the one on my inlaws '02 and it rolled 30' down the street before I caught up to it. All that did was scuff it a bit.
