Nice, Zack! Now I just gotta get my ass in gear and get mine put back together, lol.

It's those damn expensive lifters that is keeping me from finishing. I can't find a better deal then $46 around here. I already ordered two, lol.

It's a stock 2000 intake. Handful of 98-00 4.0l came with no EGRs

I might have to do all of this one day seeing as a 5.0 swap is just too much to handle

Im planing the same job. But im wanting to go with the 410 camshaft from comp cams. I also already got new heads from alabama cylinder heads. 407 and was at the house the next day. Havnt started yet. Have to get my parts together first. Im finishing up my sbc 350 that's going in my jeep yj.

Dumb question, but do you have to remove the timing cover for any part of this job?

We're actually lucky, 98's are the easiest to convert. Especially if you find a 96/97 Explorer/Mountaineer.
