ok first id like to say hi to every one this site is awsome but any ways i have 95 ranger 4.0 auto 4x4 it lost revers and the trans is just all around junk i can not find another trans for under a 1000 an i keep hearin the 95 trans was a pos form the get go so i was wondering if there was a way to put a older ranger trans or poss a v8 trans by useind adapers or what not?any ideas

what do you mean "lost reverse"???
Could be something very simple to fix.
Low fluid ?? reverse would go first.
I would let trans shop run test on it, like I said might be a simple fix.
most good trans shop would test for nothing or just a couple bucks.

i had it at one they never tested it and said the style trans it has are known to breake the rev. bands so im not shure it was slamming in rev. and it stopped working all together?
