my catalytic converters have failed and needs to be replaced. while inspecting everything else. i noticed my exhaust manifolds are pretty rusted (thanks to mud riding) and should probably be replaced. my question is can you take the exhaust manifold off with out removing the engine?

you should be able to just unhook the exhaust pise and unbolt the manifolds and you should be able to bring them out the top of the engine bay... or you may have to crawl under the truck to get them out but you shouldn't have to remove the engine...

Just curious, how did you determine that the converters had failed?
