2010 V6 Ranger Flooding after Stall
I have a new 2010 V6 Sport ranger, well, essentially new, only 3800km/s on it.
The issue I am concerned about (and after searching through posts and not finding an answer to it), is engine flooding in the V6. During some tricky reversing I stalled the truck then could not get it started again, I had to wait for a while before i was able to restart and then engine fired up, there also seemed to be some gas discrepancies as the fuel gauge indicated more gas had been used then expected (Full before stall, 3/4 Tank after stall and restart).
I am aware that there's a recall on the fuel pump system on 2010 rangers. I'm just wondering if this a common issue with rangers that if you stall the engine becomes flooded - that would be a pretty serious issue would it not? Especially if you're in traffic?
Anyone have any other ideas what could be going on? Perhaps some air was in the line?
Thanks for your help
