no signs of a leak until today. Im stumped.

Mike did you turn the wheels without the truck running or when the belt was off? if so that would explain the fluid all over under the hood. it spits out of the PS fluid reservoir sometimes when you do that, its normal.

Yes I did. I actually drove it home without the belt on, turns and all. I think I might just take it to a shop. I could swap parts all day and still not get it. Either that or a new PS pump, idler, tensioner and another belt. Thats about 200 bones.

I wouldn't be driving that around without a belt. You have no power steering, no alternator, and no water pump.
