Spark Plugs
Lookin into gettin me some new plugs for the truck. its a 4.0L SOHC wondering what is the best recomended and best performance and gas etc.

if you have a stock ignition and spark distribution just got with some motorcraft or autolite platnum plugs, thats factory, and none of those specialty plugs can improve anything on your ride, look on here and check out all the posts about them.

And in fact, any brand other than Motorcraft or Autolite will probably fail in a short amount of time, if they even work at all. That failure could range from just not working, to basically shooting the plug through the hood.

yea thats what ive heard. none of the ones advertised really help. i was just wanting to see how the ranger drivers think about it all.

Yup best bet is the Motorcraft or Autolite both made by honeywell.

Motorcraft SP-498 Platinum spark plugs and motorcraft wires. See thread:
