Default wobbley fan

What would be the first thing(s) that would cause my radiator fan to wobble? My thoughts are either fan clutch or water pump or both? Thoughts?

What is all wobbling? If it's just the fan, then look at the clutch. If the water pump shaft looks like it is wobbling, then it's the water pump. For what it's worth, I'm thinking it's bad bearing in the pump.

when your at a stop light your motor isnt getting as much cool air so it heats up more, so it could be the water pump or fan clutch, can you wiggle the fan or spin it by hand while the motor is off of course and feel any play ir hear any odd noises?

I would say water pump. There really isnt anything that would cause the fan to wobble unless it started to unscrew from the water pump.

I just went outside to check, and I can spin the fan, but how far is the fan supposed to spin on its own? and I didnt hear any odd noises at all.

the fan has a fan clutch, when not engaged it will spin freely, with just a bit of resistance. you should start the truck up or have someone start it for you if its already warm, and watch the fan and such till it kicks on, that will give you a better idea of whats going on.
