id say you have a problem with little knowledge on this id say it could be a couple of things. 1.thermostat maybe bad. 2. id say blocked heater core. 3. dirty coolant system. start off first by running some coolant system cleaner and flush the entire thing even the heater core lines.

The gauge goes up to what line???

Cold air usually means either you have low coolant or the thermostat is sticking open. On a cold engine, your radiator should be full and the reserve tank should be 1/2 filled. You need a 50/50 mix of water and antifreeze. The thermostat is easy to unbolt and replace and its cheap. When it sticks open, the engine will never warm up.

Hopefully the coolant flush will help. Were you losing coolant at all? Any white smoke coming from the exhaust? I hope its not a bad head gasket. Check your oil to see if it looks milky.

Well, that's good. Can't be worse than a head gasket. GL.

i would get some flush and and with flush you have to run straight water with it and it needs to run for about 10 to 20 mins with the heater on full blast. after all that is said on here im out of ideas

Its either clogged or your water pump is not working.
