Try turning the key to run and off 5 times leave it on run for about 3 seconds each time then start it if it fires right up its your fuel pump and your fuel pressure regulator is part of the in tank assembly look on eBay or amazon.com for the whole assembly you can get them way less on there then at the auto parts stores

----------

You can find either the pump itself or the whole assembly napa, kragens, autozone and Ford all wanted $200-500 for the whole assembly found it online for 85-175

----------

To change it you either have to run almost completely out of gas or drain it you have to drop the tank its in the top of the tank bolted in

Found the same condition with a pressure gauge on the fuel rail schrader. On-off 5 times to get the pressure up to 30 psi and it starts instantly.
I will have my daughter help me lift the bed back onto the rear tires and bumper to replace the pump and rust treat the frame.
Just remove the T55 bed bolts, filler neck screws, tail lite plug.
