Default check engine light

Hi guys been a while but last night got in my 2005 ranger and started it and it miss a little. Then the check engine light started to go on and off it did this about 80 times. Then went off then did it again. Now it ison all the time, I need help, thanks Ed

Agreed. If you don't have a code reader you can take it to pretty much any parts store. They can read the code, tell you what it means, and clear it for you.

This shows what you need to do. It's a common problem. I had the same thing and one mechanic told me I needed a new intake gasket and turned out that hose was just cracked
