Default seas foam &bad mpgs

A few weeks ago I put in 1 bottle of sea foam in my ranger gas tank, and last night I filled up again and I got 13.036 mpg out of 16.186 gallons! I also use the 4x4 1 time but that is really bad for a small truck even though is has 4x4 so could this be because I used sea foam?.

I think recommendation is a 3rd of a bottle per tank.

Dont calculate your MPG with the seafoam in the tank. Run most of that out of your tank then fill up with a fresh tank of fuel only then calculate.

Provide more info on your truck too so we know what we are dealing with (Signature)

Miles traveled/fuel pumped (Not saying your doing it wrong but just in case )

When using it as a fuel additive only you can dump the whole bottle in.

One tank of gas isn't really a good measurement, but the stuff seafoam broke down could have clogged your fuel filter.

I still suggest changing your fuel filter.

fuel filter is on the drivers side of the truck. im wanting to say halfway down the truck. its a cylender looking thing that has a hose coming into and out of it. worth a shot. there only like ten bucks at autozone
