4.0 OHV Cam?
I'm wanting to put a performance cam in my 4.0 OHV.
Does anyone have any recommendations on any cams? The only one I've found is one from Comp Cams. Also would I need to get a full kit for the springs, rockers, and lifters?
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks all!

Re: 4.0 OHV Cam?
springs and lifters would be a good idea with the new cam. rockers not a bad idea while your at it.
along with the pooer gas mileage, your gonna have a rougher idle. if you have a 5 speed it wont be a major problem id upgrade to a better clutch, but an automatic might jerk when your stopped in drive and could be hard on the tranny/torque converter

Re: 4.0 OHV Cam?
i have a comp 422 cam in my truck, gas mileage is the same as it was before. you'll need the cam, different length pushrods, the comp dual spring valve springs, and a tune. with all that you wont have an issue and your idle will be fine. the comp 410 is also a good choice, a bit milder than the 422
