Hey guys i have a 93 4.0 v6 and i want to seafoam it. It leaks oil not bad but noticable and get bad gas mileage. I dont care about the mileage becuase thats another problem i cant fix right now but will seafoaming my engine hurt it? or even worse cause it to seize up and not start? Let me know. thanks

seafoam is fine , I use it through the brake booster line.
my motor has 165k no problems using it

Alright thanks dude. It's my cousin who is a mechanic (my future career choice) said it would get rid of all that junk thats holding my engine together. I think he meant if I put it in the oil though. So if you did it through the brake booster line how much did you put in and how long did it smoke?

I put about 1/3 to a 1/2 can and it smoked for a long time, I took it on the highway and ran it , but smoked like crazy, you might want to change plugs afterwards because they can get full of carbon, I was going to replace mine anyway so I did the seafoam b-4 changing plugs out.
