2003 Ford Ranger 4.0 ticking in engine.
I recently replaced the serpintine belt in my ranger and 2 days afterward I got a ticking in the engine, it ticks at start up, idle and while im driving, also the check engine light came on. I was wondering if it is possible to have over tightened the belt or maybe I hit something while installing the belt.
