Default Am I going to fail my emmissions inspection ....?

Since I recently installed a cold air intake and a throttle body spacer, my check engine light came on. Im from the state of PA and I know they still pass the vehicles with check engine lights. But I just wasnt sure since this has to do the MAF sensor

Are you 100% sure it is the MAF?

Get the code it is flashing. If it is the MAF, you can try some MAF cleaner. Did the new filter require oil? If so some oil from the filter may have made it through and got on the MAF.

Is there a cone filter on the end of the MAS? A lot of the time, if the cone filter is on the end of the MAS, it will change the air flow characterists going into the sensor and screw with the readings. If it were me and I had to take it in for inspection, I would put it back to stock to dodge any issues. If you want to put it back on, then so be it.
