Question blown head gasket

so, i am replacing my head gaskets, and when i pulled the passenger head gasket i come to find the rear chain guide was broken, so i pulled the engine out and replaced the chain guide, put the engine back in and everything was going good until i tried to put the cam back on that side and the chain seems shorter then it was and wont seat to cam now, i really dont want to take everything apart again and take the engine back out, was wondering if anybody had any insight on this, also in messing with the chain to get it to fit, i pulled off the head, was wondering if i could re use the new gasket and the new head bolts, i got a new gasket and head bolts, just had to take them off again, the engine wasnt started or heated up or anything, wondering if its a good idea just to use the new bolts and gasket or get more new ones.

Better to be safe than sorry. I would get new bolts. It would suck to have them fail after all that work.
