Check Gauge light
I have an 03 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0 v6, I am just wondering when I am running low on cash and can't get to the gas station right away, when the light comes on when I drop to E, exactly how far do I have if I am driving at a normal speed?

I figure its about 2 gallon left in the tank when the light comes on.

yeah, about 2 or 3 gallons. when the light comes on fill up, 2 gallons sloshing around the bottom of the tank isnt that much.

i have learned that my light comes on when i have about 3 gallons left. i have ran mine to the brink of 100% empty, and that's how i have come to figure it out. i know with my normal daily driving, it gives me about 4 days.

^ I agree with everybody above. When mine comes on I usually tell myself i got about 30-40 miles before I am risking a long walk lol.
