Default Where is the PCV valve?

I have a 4.0 SOHC and I have not been able to find where the PCV valve is so that I can replace it. I figure it's easier to ask than start tearing things apart to find it. I have a Chilton's manual and it is absolutely worthless on this subject. Any help would be appreciated, pics would be greatly appreciated.

Behind the driver (left) side head. You'll see a rubber elbow. Lotta members advise checking that elbow for leaks while you're at it. search this sight for PVC vacuum leak or something.

Thanks, I checked the forums and found out it was under the radiator hose. I'll try and replace it tomorrow.

Incorrect. It is in the rear of the driver side valve cover close to the firewall and is a 1/3-turn screw in type with a coolant heater tube around it. More difficult to change than a traditional PCV valve. More expensive too.

Ok, I think I found it. Now I just have to figure out what the best way is to get back there and disconnect it.

For some reason I'm having a hard time removing the pcv valve. All the hoses are disconnected,so I'm not sure if there's a special to removing it?

I assume that you are talking about the 4.0 SOHC.

It can be a little stubborn because of the small lock tab that you can see in the picture above the blue o-ring. Pry the lock tab up carefully with a small screwdriver, be sure that you are turning it counterclockwise and it should twist out in about 1/3 turn.
