Angry 4.0 OHV water pump

I give up (for now). I am trying to get the fan off of the water pump on my 2000 ranger. There are 4-10mm bolts on the pulley. I cut them off because they were so tight I could not get them off using every tool in my garage, except a reciprecating saw. I took the 4-10mm bolts off of the fan blade. It still wont come off. There is a big nut in between the fan and pump but even after putting it in the vice and turning it, with a great amount of effort, I still can't get it off. So, like any normal man, I decided to look in the Haynes Manual. After being directed to the section 4 & 5 which Is for electrical and exhaust ( which in my mind has nothing to do with the water pump) I put the manual in the fire that my wife was building. She knows that I do these kind of things and later regret it so she took it out. My experience with Haynes manuals is that they are a waste of money so I told her to put back in the fire. So at the risk of making a fool of my self, wich I do often, I decided to ask for help from some who actually work on things. I hope that it is not too simple so at least I will not feel too stupid, but can anyone help me out? Thanks alot!

Talking Re: 4.0 OHV water pump

I figured it out after about four hours of strugle, pounding and sawing. I took it over to the local shop and he got it off with a special impact tool. Who would have known? Next time I will for sure.
