Thumbs down Slipping "only on occasion"

Ive got a 95 xtra cab with 4 litre, a shift chip in my 4R55E, occasionally from 2nd to 3rd it slips, sometimes it grabs hard, and other times i can bark the tires into 3rd, any ideas? or suggestions?

Fast 4 Litre.... 95 Xtra cab, 4 litre, K-N, Chipped, 3" cat back tubes through a Flowmaster, Chipped 4R55E, 4.11 ratio limited slip rear. 2" drop in front. (soon to be 4" spindle drop and 2" rear)
