Default Cold Air Conversion

Hey does anyone if you can take the stock pipe for the intake and make that a Cold Air. Someone told me to just take out the stock box and and put a cold air filter on instead of the box. Just seeing if anyone agrees or can help me with this

um.... your factory intake is already a cold air intake. Sounds like your wasting your time here.
