Okay then clean your MAF sensor that's what it can be

If u need help I can post pictures on how to clean it

the higher octane is just masking the problem instead of curing it.

Are your running one of those ebay super duper chips? Your timing is too advanced, or your gas is too retarded. I would run A good fuel system cleaner, and possibly a pint of 2 cycle oil in a full tank of gas. Then I would not buy gas from wherever you bought it before. The sound is appropriately dubbed "Ping".

On a separate note I would not use electrical cleaner on the MAF sensor standard electrical cleaner has a special additive to protect the connections it cleans. You can find the right stuff at a good auto parts store. This is only my educated opinion, it is not meant to offend, but to possibly save someone a headache.
The right stuff is named "MAF Cleaner". HTH
