If your goal is fuel mileage than there is nothing you can do. There is nothing bolt on. There are mods you can do that will increase MPG, but they all cost 100x more than the small increase in mileage will ever save you in the next 25 years. Fuel economy is 100% all in your right foot.

I'm far an expert on that. I can give you some initial tips and others will chime in too.

First of all, intakes do nothing. Your stock intake is more than large enough and already takes in fresh air. So you can save your money on that. Exhaust will help, but i wouldn't know a thing about what kits are good. Nobody uses chips anymore. You can instead buy a programmer that will reflash your truck's computer without opening it up. These work GREAT and are very customizable

yea the little computer things that you can buy for a couple hundred bucks are usually the easiest and best way to gain some power. if you have a manual tranny i would be very careful at first bucause i have heard that sometimes even just a little power upgrade can make the clutch slip. before getting to far into something like that, i would suggest getting a racing clutch that is designed to handle the power

torque makes a clutch slip - and anything he would be doing would be FAR from the slip point

No you can't. All those mods cost 100x more than the increase in fuel economy will ever save. So you took a net loss. You had your cake, more power. But you don't get to claim your saving money on gas because you aren't.

HI!... Well your wrong. Electric fan was free, my programmer is from another project that I had re-tuned for free, the true CAI i custom built myself from spare material I had in my shop and cost me $5 for some paint. Crank pulley was $250 and gears were a set I had from years before and cost me $300 to have installed. So the $20 a week I save with these mods = 3 years of having them installed = 156 weeks. 156 x $20 = $3120. Now I'll even cut that in 1/2 and thats still $1600 saved. money I have spent = $550. So ya, you can have your cake and eat it too.
